Safety for Trans People in small communities


There was so much to cover, that we are doing this topic again. Question prompts include: What are places, times, or scenarios that have felt safe for you recently? How did you feel during the time, and afterwards? 
What is a way that you do, or would like to offer safety to other trans folks in qathet? Feeling safe is a unique experience to each person; i.e. what may feel safe for some may not be safe for everybody

Understanding Consent

Consent is a fundamental aspect of respecting individuals' autonomy and integrity. It's about ensuring that everyone has the right to make informed choices about their own bodies and their personal boundaries. We will be discussing consent broadly in its relational aspects.

Exploring our relationships with our bodies, and respectfully share experiences of queer dating, how attractions may shift, and having brand new experiences in the dating world.

Social Transition, Tips, Advice, Challenges. This space is for talking through all kinds of nuances of social transition. We will not be discussing aspects medical transition during this meeting, and we remind you that you are trans enough, regardless of decisions around transitioning!

Navigating Relationships: Focusing on building and maintaining healthy relationships with partners, friends, and family during and after transition, and what supportive allyship from loved ones can look like.
